Past Instructors
Mia Pinheiro: Designer, Program Development, Instructor
Course: The Body EnSouled
Mia is a movement artist and choreographer currently based in Mexico City, Mexico. She grew up in a small fishing town on the coast of Massachusetts, playing with the wind and the water and the fishes. She studied geography, dance and community development and is continually investigating methods of engaging with the topics she adores. Often this leads her to orchestrating collaborative performances large and small, designing spaces for events and websites, and walking around the city streets imagining what forest/wasteland/ocean she is passing through on the exact opposite point on earth. Mia began her journey with us participating in Temenos Vermont's Creative Concept Development course and completing our internship in organizational development and web design. She currently teaches for us, and provides consultation around web design and course development. You can view some of Mia media pieces here, through National Geographic, or through visiting her online portfolio.
